Job Profile: We have an exciting vacancy in our Children’s Division for a Senior Marketing Executive to join our creative and dynamic team. Reporting to the Marketing and Publicity Director, you will work across all areas of the Simon & Schuster children’s publishing list. You will have responsibility for developing and managing your own title marketing, across a range of genres, in addition to working closely with the Simon & Schuster team to create imaginative, effective and integrated campaigns.
The Candidate: We are looking for a talented individual with strong marketing skills, an imaginative approach and a demonstrable understanding of book publishing. You will have a flair for writing great copy, a keen eye for design the ability to deliver impactful, inventive campaigns across all media. You will be confident delivering pitches and presentation to authors, agents and retailers. The winning candidate will display strategic thinking and planning, detailed market awareness and consumer insight alongside creative abilities.
